So all week there have been signs posted on the doors of Peyton PHlaCe that there would be a test of the severe weather alarm system at a designated time/date....

Ignore the instructions - it is a test....

So the designated time/date arrives and DEAFENING alarm goes off....

With an announcement....

ATTENTION!!!
SEVERE WEATHER IS PROCEEDING TOWARD OUR AREA!!!
PLEASE PROCEED IMMEDIATELY TO A SEVERE WEATHER SHELTER AND STAND BY FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS...
I REPEAT!!!

And she did - with sirens blaring....

For a whole half hour.

Meanwhile....

Outside the building...

Severe weather IS proceeeding toward our area...

But of course no one pays attention...

Because it is a test:(
