As many of you know have been trying the online dating thing for a few months. I have met a lot of different kinds of people - most of them nice enough even if not interested in striking up a friendship...
As you may also know, I have made an honest attempt to meet people on line by initiating contact with guys who seem to enjoy some of the same things I do or who have interesting profiles.
Most (99%) of the guys I initiate contact with do not even have the decency to reply after they read my email. So, I just recently started adding to my email that a reply either way would be appreciated...
After the reply I got today, I think I will omit that line...
Thanks, but I already have a DOG!!!
In fact, I may quit initiating conversations altogether, at least until I lose some weight, get a haircut, and can post a better picture...a dog????

Phillipia, that guy is a complete ass!! Being that I'm doing the same as you are, I have a right to comment here. There are LOTS of asses out there. Myself, I almost never initiate, but I make a point of responding to everyone who shows an interest. However, you can't let one idiot get you down. Do not let him make you feel bad..you are beautiful... Tell him dogs can be groomed, but asses only blow hot air!!
Hey Dawn, thanks. I like your reply...but I think I will just follow my Mom's advice and not say anything at all since I cannot think of much nice right now:)
